- Summer between November and April
- It is warm and sunny
- A nice time to enjoy the lagoon and relax
- A lot of fruits and flowers
- Winter between May to October
- It is more cold – it could be 0°C around the volcano early in the morning
- It is the perfect season to hike in Reunion !
- It is the whales watching season – whales giving birth close to the shores of the island
Please keep in mind that Reunion has more than 400 microclimates. It means that in a same day, it could be rainy on one side of the island and sunny on an another side. You can experience 4 weathers in a day !
Last, be aware that the rainy / hurricane season is from January to April.

HOTEL LES JARDIN D’HEVA** (Salazie ; East Coast)
The vernacular hotel « Les Jardins d’Héva » is located in Hell-Bourg, classified among the most beautiful villages of France, in the heart of the Cirque of Salazie, which is listed as a UNESCO world heritage site. Since 2007, the establishment has been part of a process of respect for this exceptional environment that is our National Park. The hotel has 10 rooms distributed in 5 traditional Creole huts.
HOTEL LES GERANIUMS*** (La Plaine des Cafres)
Les Géraniums is a comfortable hotel located near the Volcano of Le Piton de La Fournaise. The hotel has an exceptional view on the heights of the island (weather permitting) and has a restaurant offering Creole and French cuisine.
HOTEL LE VICTORIA*** (Grand Bois, Saint-Pierre ; South Coast)
Located in Grand-Bois, in the south of Reunion Island, the Exsel Victoria hotel overlooks the Indian Ocean. The 31 rooms delicately placed on a steep cliff allow a magical immersion in a preserved environment. 10 minutes from the center of Saint-Pierre and at the gateway to the Wild South of Reunion, the Exsel Victoria hotel is the ideal place to reconnect with those you love, with nature, with yourself.
HOTEL EXSEL ERMITAGE*** (Saint-Gilles ; Côte Ouest)
Ideally located in the immediate vicinity of the beach and a shopping area, you can lounge in the shade of the Filaos trees, try swimming in the crystal clear and safe water of the lagoon, before a little shopping excursion, all within a 5-minute walk.

- 1 night in a 2-star hotel « Les Jardins d’Héva » or similar, breakfast basis for 2 adults ;
- 1 night in a 2-star hotel « Les Géraniums » or similar, breakfast basis for 2 adults ;
- 2 nights in a 3-star hotel « Le Victoria » or similar, breakfast basis for 2 adults ;
- 2 nights in a 3-star hotel « Exsel Ermitage » or similar, breakfast basis for 2 adults ;
- All the mandatory city taxes are included ;
- 7 days of rental car – Category B (Peugeot 208 or similar / manual gear) – mandatory airport taxes included ;
- A roadbook with suggested day tours and activities – a map of Reunion island ;
- The booking and assistance fees ;
This package does not include :

Cancellation fees :
- More than 30 days before departure : 50 euros per person
- Between 30 and 21 days before departure : 50% of the total amount
- Between 20 and 8 days before departure : 75% of the total amount
- Less than 7 days before departure : 100 % of the total amount
- No show or anticipated departure : 100% of the total amount
